Microwave-assisied Technology for Extracting Pitaya Polysaccharide

  • The technology of microwave-assisted extracting polysaccharide from pitaya flower was studied.Three main parameters, microwave power, microwave extraction time and liquid-solid ratio were tested separately, and the optimum conditions of microwave-assisted extraction were obtained by orthogonal experiment.The result shows that, the optimal method was high fire, extracting time 40 s, and liquid-solid ratio 1∶40 (w/v) , with which the polysaccharides extraction yields of pitaya flower was (65.61±0.10) mg·g-1, indicating stablity and reproducibility.
