Abstract:
New indica hybrid rice combination—Ⅱ Youfu 819 bred by pollen-radiation had the characteristics of good grain quality,high-yield,stable-yield and wide adaptability.The combination passed the examination and approval of the Crop Variety Approval Committee of Fujian and Jiangxi provinces respectively.In order to extend the combination,three influential elements including planting density(x1),seedling age(x2) and quantities of nitrogen(x3)applied,were studied by using optimized design.A regression model for these three elements and yield were established.The analysis result indicated that all of these elements affected the yield to some extend.According to the result of computer simulation screening,a comprehensive cultivating pattern was 148 000-281 000 hills per hm2,32-33 days for seedling age and 96.9-167.7 kg N applied per hm2.

Abstract:
Hybridization between Jiahezhaozhan and Tefengai/duoxi 1 was conducted.From the F2 generations,a milling-brown breeding way was adopted continuously to select the good lines,finally new early variety(Zhangjiazhan) with high quality was developed.It showed high yield,strong resistance,high quality,good performance in ripe time and resistance to lodge.In the regional test of Fujian in 2002-2003,the average yield in two years was 2.86% higher than that of Jiahezhaozhan.

Abstract:
Eight main nutrition compositions and eating quality of 211 sweet potato varieties in germplasm resource were determined.Having analysed the correlation and stability of different compositions data in sweet potato germplasm,it was found that,some compositions such as dry matter content,starch content,soluble sugar content,rough cellulose and Vitamin C have remarkably correlativity.Dry matter content,soluble sugar content,rough cellulose and carotene content were more stability than soluble sugar,rough protein,rough fat and Vitamin C in different environment,we also selected 100 varieties which have preferable nutrition compositions.

Abstract:
The pathogen isolated from anthracnose of Strelizia reginae was identified as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz.The temperature range for Colletotrichum gloeosporioides growth was 10-35℃.The optimum was 25℃.The relative humidity for conidia germination ranged from 90%-100%.The fungus grew better in glucose and mannitol as the carbon sources,and in ammonium phosphate monobasic and urea as the nitrogen sources;glucose and glycerin as carbon sources and ammonium phosphate monobasic as nitrogen sources were suitable for the sporulation of the pathogen.However,peptone and ammonium sulfate as nitrogen source were not beneficial for the growth and sporulation of the pathogen,50% prochloraz manganese WP,50% carbendazim WP,70% thiophanate methyl WP(500 times,1 000 times,1 500 times) could inhibite effectually the growth in Lab.In the field,the results showed that control efficiencies of 50% prochloraz manganese WP 1000 times was the best(80.7%),the control efficiency of 70% thiophanate methyl WP(1000 times) was 71.6%.

By the way of system investigation and field control experiment,the quantity dynamics of entrap melon fly male adult and damage ratio to Balsam pear,the economic permission damage ratio were established as 2.85%-3.09%,the relationship model between damage ratio and quantity of entrap melon fly male adult were developed,and the economic threshold of melon fly were established as 5.3-5.8 adult per entrapper during ten days.

Abstract:
The effects of Mucaosu(alfalfa extracts) on the laying performances and serum parameters in laying hens were studied.3600 Hy-line brown laying hens(300 days old) were randomly divided into treatment group fed with basic diet containing Mucaosu and control group fed with basic diet only,each group had six replication.The results showed as follows:(1) The egg size,laying rate,death rate in treatment and control were 58.15 g and 52.06 g,78.8% and 74.18%,1.03% and 1.09%,respectively,and their differences were significant(P0.05).(2) The daily feed consumption of each hen were 102.64 g in treatment and 105.06 g in control,and there was no significant difference(P0.05).(3) The shell thickness,the Haugh unit in treatment and control were 0.365 mm and 0.352 mm,89.50 and 80.52,respectively,and the differences were significant(P0.05).(4) The cholesterol,estradiol,calcium of serum in treatment and control were 3.20 mmol·L-1 and 3.82 mmol·L-1,25.81 ng·ml-1 and 32.23 ng·ml-1,7.141 mmol·L-1 and 6.306 mmol·L-1,respectively,the differences were significant(P0.05).There were no significant diffierence in TP,AIB,GLB,GLU,TG,HDL-C in serum between two grougs(P0.05).It was concluded that alfalfa extract adding to diet improved the performances of the laying performance and quality of eggs,increased healthy status of laying hens.

The correlationship among meat quality traits of breast muscle and leg muscle in the quality chickens were studied.The princomp of meat quality traits were also studied.The IMF was positively related with pH1,pH2,and muscle fibre density,but negatively with muscle cooking loss,shear force value and fibre diameter.The muscle pH was negatively associated with muscle cooking loss,shear force value and fibre diameter,but positively with fibre density(P0.05).The muscle dropping loss was negatively related with the muscle cooking loss and fibre density,but positively with muscle shear force value and fibre diameter.The muscle cooking loss and shear force value were positively with fibre diameter,but negatively with fibre density(P0.05).The princomp results of meat quality traits were showed that the breast meat quality traits can be expressed by four principal components and the leg meat quality traits by two principal components.

The type of the cloacal epithelium of duck was studied by using histological techniques.The results showed that the cloacal epithelium of duck was stratified squamous epithelium.There was no goblet cell between epithelial cells, and no villus at the mucosal surface.The mucosal epithelium of rectum transforms into stratified squamous epithelium abruptly at the end of the rectum.The boundary line between rectum and cloaca was very distinct.

Abstract:
A pair of primers were designed and synthesized based on the sequences of the JEV genome,and the RT-PCR method to detect the Japanese Encephalitis Virus(JEV) were development.The 430 bp specifical fragment were obtained from the JEV vaccine strains RNA by this RT-PCR.The test of the gene sequence of RT-PCR product achieved to 98%-100% with that of other JEV strains.The sensitivity of RT-PCR reached to 10 pg JEV RNA.These results showed that the RT-PCR method to detect JEV were of better specificity and higher sensibility.

Effect of feeding Chamaecrista rotundifolia seed powder on the cholesterol metabolism of native chicken and its mechanism were investigated in Fuzhou area.240 healthy 8 week-old chickens were randomly divided into two groups by using single factor design,each group has tree replications.The chickens in control group were given basic daily feed,the chickens in experimental group were given basic daily feed and 3 g of Chamaecrista rotundifolia seed power(120 mesh) per bird,the experiment was lasted for 30 d.The results showed that,there was no significant difference in chicken productivity between two groups(P0.05).Feeding Chamaecrista rotundifolia seed powder significant deduced TCHO,TG,LDL-C contents in the chicken serum(P0.05) and increased HDL-C content(P0.05).TCHO and TG contents in the chicken muscle of experimental chicken group were significantly lower than that of control(P0.05).The test to AST and ALT of experimental chicken showed that feeding Chamaecrista rotundifolia seed powder had no harmful effect on chicken liver.Chamaecrista rotundifolia seed powder significantly decreased the HMG-CoA reductase activity.

Experiments were carried out to study minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC) of 5 kinds of disinfectants(double fouthdiamine sait-iodine solution,compound aldehyde,chlorine-containing disinfectant;sodium hydroxide and potassium permanganate) against 5 kinds of pathogenic bacteria,and the above MBCs of disinfectants were 1:600-1:800,1:1000-1:2500,1:30000-1:40000,0.01%-0.03% and 0.0008%-0.004%,respectively.It emphatically evaluated the sterilized efficacy of each kind of disinfectant to salmonella at different temperatures.The results showed that following the increase of environmental temperature,the MBC of double fouthdiamine sait-iodine solution went up,but the MBC of compound aldehyde was down and the MBC of other three kinds of disinfectants did not change with environmental temperature.The highest salmonella concentrations killed by 5 kinds of MBC of disinfectants reached 106cfu·ml-1;the effeciency that simultaneously used two kinds of disinfectants was dissimilar.Terminating or not the disinfectant function did not affect the sterilized effect.Several proposals were suggested to pig raisers about how to use the disinfectants.

The cadmium pollution in medium materials of Agaricus Blazei Murrill was investigated and analyzed in main production area of Fujian Province,and the effect of cadmium pollution in medium materials on fruit body was studied.The result showed that the cadmium content of CaH2(PO4)2 was higher than that of dry cow dung,that of rice straw was the lowest.Cadmium was absorbed by mycelium and accumulated in fruit body,consequently.The content of cadmium in medium composition was positively correlated to the content cadmium in fruit body.Regulation equation(y=-4.01+94.01x1+54.32x2+679.46x3) indicated the relationship among cadmium content in fruit body(y) and the cadmium content of rice straw(x1),cow dung(x2),CaH2(PO4)2(x3) in cultivation compositions.The value of leading factor was CaH2(PO4)2.Meanwhile,important effects of cow dung in medium materials on the yield of fruit body and the amount of amino acids,providing theoretic base for the cultivation standardization of Agaricus Blazei Murrill.

The genetic character of soluble solid content in melon was studied with half-diallel crosses.The results showed that the additive effects and the dominant effects of genes on soluble solid content were significant,but the additive effects were predominated and the value of the narrow heritability was 65%.The distribution of genes controlling the trait was unsymmetrical.The trait was controlled by the dominant genes,but it showed incomplete dominance.The F4 was preferable generation selected the genetic character.

The optimal ISSR-PCR reaction conditions in tea was established by studying the main parameters.Results showed that the optimal concentration of DNA,Taq polymerase,primer,Mg2+,dNTp in 20 μl reaction mixture was 40 ng,0.5 U,0.25 μmol·L-1,1.5 mmol·L-1,0.2 mmol·L-1.The appropriate annealing temperature was 2-3℃ higher than Tm of corresponding primer.

The seeds of six Chamaecrista spp.carried by spaceship and the effects on SP1 generation were studied.The results showed that the germination rates of 2204,2217,34721 and 92985 were increased;the plant height of 86134 was decreased and its branch number was increased,the leaf length of 2204 was decreased,the leaf width of 2217 was decreased;the biomasses of 34721 and 86134 were decreased;the durations of reproductive growth of six Chamaecrist varieties were changed significantly;and the contents of phosphorus and potassium of the cultivar of 86134 were increased.

This paper reported a mulit-residue analysis of 5 kinds of pesticides(organochlorine and pyrethroid:α-HCH,β-HCH,γ-HCH,δ-HCH,pp′-DDE,op′-DDT,pp′DDD,pp′-DDT,cypermethrin,fenvalerate,fenpropathrin) by ECD-GC.The results showed that the recoveries were in range of 71.1%-88.0%,the coefficients of variation were 0.7%-12.8% and minimum limits of detection were 0.04-2.70μg·L-1.

The effecta of agrarian area,productive technologies and ecological conditions on Fujian’s grain potential productivity were discussed.On the basis of module construction,the agrarian area and the productive technologies of potential productivity were analyzed.Based on the forecast of the grain potential productivity from 2006 to 2020,the relation between supply and demand of the grain and the deficiency of agrarian area was estimated.

This paper expounded the consideration on researching and developing the new technical model in hilly drainage area during the process of agro-industrial structure adjustment,its characters of energy and material recycles,with the emphasis on introducting the efficiency of three renovation techniques in hilly area of northern Fuzhou,i.e.construction of artificial grassland and feeding goats in rotation,qualified forage for pisciculture use,and ecosystimatical resilience of hilly orchard and improvement of its productivity.

The accumulation of heavy metals in mycelia of Qilingu and the effects of heavy metals on the growth of this fungus were investigated.The results showed that mycelia of Qilingu strongly concentrated Hg and As.When the heavy metals concentration in media were 0.5-5.0mg·kg-1,Hg and As content in mycelia were 2.24-11.68 and 4.06-9.92 times higher than that in media respectively.Hg inhibited mycelia growth significantly,0.5 mg·kg-1 of Hg inhibited mycelia growth rate by 36.03%.Whereas,As promoted mycelia growth in the concentrations of 0.5-5.0 mg·kg-1.

This paper summarized our work in applying spent mushroom substrates and biogas residue as organic manure to orange trees in order to study its effects on orange production and quality.Results indicated that applying both SMS and biogas residne increased remarkably orange yield per tree,the proportion of qualified fruit and the ratio between total mono-sugar and total acids content.Moreover,the physico chemieal characters in soil was also improved.

The gametic hybridization between Haliotis sieboldii and Haliotis discus hannai was studied in Pingtan,Fujian in 2005.The results showed that the fertilization rates of Haliotis sieboldii ♂×H.discus hannai♀ and Haliotis sieboldii♀×H.discus hannai♂ were 14.5% and 13.8% respectively,and those autocopulation of the H.sieboldi and H.discus hannai were 80.5% and 75.3% respectively.The survival rates of the hybridization of H.sieboldii and H.discus hannai were higher,the growth rates of the larvae and survival rates of overwintering juvenile abalones of the crossbreeding between H.sieboldii and H.discus hannai were lower than those of the autocopulation of H.sieboldi,and which were significantly higher than those of autocopulation of H.discus hannai,F1 generation of hybridization indicated good production performance and heterosis.
