Abstract
The analyzed results of 23 vegetable superficial soil samples showed that total S content in soil was 354.9 mg·kg-1 and available S content was 26.2 mg·kg-1. The content of available Sin 43.6% samples was lower than critical value (16 mg·kg-1) and available S accounted for 7.4% of the total S. The experiment results showed that yields of Lactuca satiua and Brassica oleraclai increased by sulfur fertilizer at the dosage of 15-60 kg·hm-1. Sulfur nutrient could also improve vegetable quality and decrease accumulation of NO3-. The NO3- content in the center part of Lactuca satiua, Brassica oleraclai and swamp cabbage decreased by 13.0%-56.0%, 24.8%-48.7% and 8.2 %-56.0% respectively compared with the control. The NO3- content in plant of swamp cabbage and litter cabbage applied sulfur fertilizer at pot experiment or liquid experiment in net house decreased more than that in field experiment.
