  • Classical physiological and biochemical methods and 16S rDNA analysis were used to identify two biocontrol bacillus strains BS-2000 and JK-2.Physiological and biochemical identification showed that BS-2000 related to Bacillus licheniformis, JK-2 related to Brevibacillus brevis.16S rDNA analysis showed that the 16S rDNA sequence of BS-2000 shared 99.9%homologies with sequence of Bacillus licheniformis from GenBank, the 16S rDNA sequence of JK-2 shared 99.9%homologies with sequence of Brevibacillus brevis.So it is considered that the strain of BS-2000 belongs to Bacillus licheniforrais and the strain of JK-2 belongs to Brevibacillus brevis.
