  • Thirty-five rhizosphere strains with inhibitory activity to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cubense race 4 were screened by pairing culture on PSA from 130 strains which isolated from the healthy banana rhizosphere soil.Among which 16 strains showed good antagonistic effects with 6-11mm inhibition zone diameter and>2.0 antagonistic coefficient, 7 of 16 strains showed steady antagonistic effects.The results showed that the culture solution of antagonistic strains FBS, FB2, T2WF, T2WC and W10, watered into injured banana roots, could give more than 81%control efficiency on the 50th day after inoculating the pathogen.Furthermore, the culture solution of antagonistic strains FB5, T2WF, T2WC and W10 could enhance the growth of banana seedlings.
