Effects of CHM-2 on high-temperature composting of livestock feces

  • Effect of micro-ecological regulator CHM-2 on composting of livestock feces was studied.The results showed that CHM-2 could significantly increase fermentation temperature during the early period of composting and decrease the effects of composting material on seed germination index.The maximum temperatures after inoculating CHM-2 were 65℃(chicken manure),61.6℃(swine manure)and 56.5℃(cattle manure)-all higher than the control.The time periods required for GI50% were 15d(chicken manure),15d(swine manure)and 10d(cattle manure)-shorter than the control.
