Tenebrio molitor L.larvae were fed on a diet with varying amounts of zinc sulfide to study the zinc bioaccumulation in the insect.Weight of and zinc concentration in the larvae were determined. And,the special growth rate and zinc bioaccumulation factor(BAF) in the larvae were also calculated for the analysis. The result showed that, when the zinc concentration in the diet was 100 mgkg-1,the zinc concentration and BAF in larva were significantly higher than those in the other groups. The weight gain was also higher than the control. When the dietary zinc concentration was higher than 100 mgkg-1,normal larval growth was retarded.
