Effects of “GEMARl”Liquid Fertilizer on lncreasing Rice and Vegetable Production

  • GEMARI,a lquuid fertilizer introduced from Indonesia,is a highly effective nutritional complex for increasing crop production. For rice,by spraying 500~1500 mg/kg of GEMARI liq-uid,an extra yield of 330.0~1230.0 kg/hm2 has been obtained with increase range of 7.2%~26.8% compared with spraying water as control. In field trals,the rice yield in use of GEMARI liq-uid could be raised by 10%,as much as 469.5kg/hm2,in comparison with applying equivalent chemical fertilizeres. The optimum amount of GEMARI liquid for rice is about 1000~1500 mg/kg.GEMARI also has significant effects on vegetable crops.For Chinese cabbages,water con-volvulus and leaf mustard, by spraying 750 mg/kg of GEMARI liquid,the productions increased by 18.9%~34.1%,13.7%~38.5%and 13.6%respectively,in comparison with spraying water as control,and by about 5.0 %compared with applying equivalent chemical fertilizers.
