Effect of Bean Dregs Bacterial Fertilizer on Tea Cultivation

  • The experiment was conducted to research the effect of bacterial fertilizer made of bean dregs on tea cultivation.Comparing with the control in spraying clear water,the results showed that the bacterial fertilizer of bean dregs increased the number of tea bud per unit area by 26.62% and increased the tea yield by 26.24%.The date of picking tea leaves was 3-5days earlier for fertilized tea trees than for the control,and picking period was prolonged about 10days longer as well.Moreover,the effect of applying bean dregs bacterial fertilizer was observed on enhancing tenderness of tea buds,reducing the incidence rate in common diseases for the tea and improving the sensory quality and biochemical qualities of the tea while comparing those with the control groups.The bacterial fertilizer of bean dregs performed good effect in tea cultivation with the prospect in application.
