Abstract:
The cultivated area of "Shanyou 63" has ben kept the first in china since 1986.the average cultivated area one year is 4.67 million hm2, about 22% of the area Of indica zone in China and Particularly, 27.1% in 1990.It is almost cultivated all over the indica cultivated zone 17°36’N to 37°49’N and from 100°36’E to 121°38’E to 121 °56’E.It has been cultivated 52.67 million hm2 and increased by about 58.5 billion kg grain from the year 1986 to 1995.According to the national rational yield trial,it increased 1.1 t grain per hm2 comparing with CK.General grain yield was 8.25t to gi Per hm2 and the highest was 13.9t per hm2.It has good ratoon ability and the highest grain yield of ratoon rice reached 8.77t per hm2.This paper introduces the main agronomic and biological traits of "Shanyou 63".The yield traits ie.panicles /hm2, grains per ear, and grain weight are all higher and well coordinated.The light compensation point is lower, and the light saturation point, utilization efficiency of light energy and N and K in the soil are higher than CK.It is tolerant to saline-alkali soil, to high temperature at florescence, and resistant to blast.It has good eating and cooking quility and ratoon ability.The ratoon rice yield reaches 8.23t per hm2.

The endogenous hormone IAA and GA1+3+4+7 in young panicles and the backward second leave sheathes of rice male-sterile line with alloplasm-homokaryon WAV41 A and KV41 A and their maintainer V41B were determined by ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay).The results showed that the contents of IAA and GA1+3+4+7 in young Panicle of WAV41A and KV41A ware less than that of V41B during the period when young Panicle developed, it was suggested that male bole related to the loss of endogenous hormone (esp.IAA); the contents of IAA and GA1+3+4+7 in WAV41A was less than that of KVV41A, and the line of the two endogenous hormone in WAV41A was earlier than that of KVV41A;the contents of IAA and GA1+3+4+7 was higher.than that of KVV41A and V41 B; the Physiological metabolic of KVV41A was similar to that of V41B, it was suggested that there were significant difference in the metabolic of endogenous hormone between WAV41A and KVV41A.

The Yahui 420 which was bred from the cross of Minghui 76 with Warylowa was a wide compatibility restorer line.The combination which were combined with Zhenxian 97A LTPA and 13565 testcross Yahui 420, showing significant heterosis on biological and economical with large panicle and ed seed set persent.The averaged grain yield come to 8.3 t/hm2 which was 20% higher by CK (Shanyou 63).The yeild had arrived to intersubspecific level.

A total number of 9 regenerated plants from protoplasts were obtained.Genetic character at various growth stages and fertiliting stages of 9 Plants and the controls were observed.The characters of the most regenerated plants were similar to those of the controls, but there were significantly differente in the height of plant, length of main planicle, grains per panicle, fertility and growth duratiort of a few plants.

The experimental result of the irradiation of 60Co gamma ray to "Tianbao Banana" showed that the sensitivities of tube-buds the diferent size to 60Co gamma ray were quite discrepant, of which the longitudinally dissected tube-buds of 2.0-5.0 mm were the most sensitive, the 2.0-5.0 mm buds were the next and the 5.0-10.0 mm buds had the laest sensitivity.Their semi-lethal doses were 49.299Gy, 57.431Gy and 68.191Gy respetivdy.The growth weight and proliferation quantity of experimental tube-buds after irradiation had obvious negative correlation to dose leves.Their rdative coefficents(r) were -0.879 and-0.906 respectively.

Cauliflower male-sterile line MSA was used as sterile source, crossed the breeds with broccoli ferbile line.And through back-crossing bred,cauliflower cytoplasmic male sterile line was transfered to broccoli cytoplasmic male sterile line.After one-gerenation crossed and four-gerenation back-gerenation back-crossed, an exeellent horticulture character sterile line 5A was selected, where genetic character was stable, and the percentage of stage plant and the sterility percentage were 100%.

Mintang 86-330, Selected from the cross combination of Mingxuan 703 and PT 43-52 in 1986, is a new sugarcane variety with early muturing, high yield, high sugar content, good resistance and aptability.The experimental result at vdrious points in several years showed that its mean cane yield was 102.675 t/hm2, sucrose content (absolue value) was 15.91% during the period from NOv.to Feb., sugar yield was 16.335 t/hm2, and was 14.95%, 1.13% and 23.75% higher than that of the currently leading variety Mintsng 70-611 of Fujian province, respectively.Its social economic bebefit is significant.

Microbial contamination and browning were the main reason causing the low survival rate of longan tissue culture in vitro.Using the internal tissue of middle stem sections and alternately immersed with multiple disinfectants as pretreatment can decrease contamination and browning.The stem germination numbers varied with seasons, and the stems in summer or autumn was suitable as explants.The rate of responsive explants could reach 73% when they were culture on MS media, and the adventitious stem grew very well.

The experiments of control effectiveness of several fungicides including Bellkute ,Diniconazole,Thiabendazole, Chlorothalonil.Carbendazim and Lusunqing (new mixture) was tested in field to control stem blight of asparagus in 1992-1993.The results showed that the contral effect of 79.76% on average for Bellkute with 500 mg/L was significantly (P0.01) better than that of 48.68% on average for Chlorothalonil with 1250 mg/L under the condition of sprayed with diluting fungicide liquid 4000 L/hm2 when the disease was seriously Prevalant.And coned effect of 78.24% on average for Lusunqing with 1000mg/L was better than that of 71.74% for Chlorothalonil with 1250 under the spraying liquid 1500L/hm2, but there were no significantly difference between them.By means of penting on surface of asparagus shoot with 10000 mg/L Lusunqing the control effect (80.97%) was the highest.

Plasma VLDL content had genetic speaciality in different duck specs.The female duck VLDL content during laving pened was 4.48-17.65 times higher than that of male duck.The higher egg-laying rate the female duck had, the higher content and lower coefficient of variability the plasma VLDL was.There were active Correlations between VLDL content with body weigh and fat rate,and negative correlation with lean rate in 7-week-old meat duck.

According to the field level Oo nonfertilization treatments from 89 N.P.K fertilizer trials on rice, the paddy soil was divided into 5 fertility grades in Fujian.In the same soil fertility grace, the regional fetilizer response models were established by the average yield of the same treatment in different sites.Based on the regional fertilizer response models that was the typical model or non-typical mode, the optimum fertilizer application rate in different soil fertility grades were recommended by the marginal yield method and yield freguency analysis method respetively.The thirty-two test and verify trials showed that the rice optimum fertilizer application rate in different fertility grades may increase 405-600kg/hm2 rice yield and 352-399 yuan/hm2 net income more than fanner’s practice in average.

Recombinant PUC inserted with full length nucleic acid sequence of chrysanthemum stunt viroid was used as template DNA to prepare digoxigenin-labelled and biotin-labelled probes with two universal primers by polymerase chain reaction.These two Probes were used to detect Samples infected with CSV.The result showed strong positive signals, while the control of the healthy ones gave negative reaction.Absorbance of digoxigenin-labelled probe was higher than that of biotin-labelled Probe for detecting CSV cDNA with PCR-microplate hybridization.The sensitivity of the digoxigenin-fataled probe for detecting the CSV RNA by dot blot method was 50fg, while that of the biotin-labelled Probe for detectingthe CSV RNA was 5pg.
