Abstract: Greens Komatsuna's alloplasmic,cytoplasmic male-sterility line,CMS08-6,was obtained at several generations through backcrossing and selection using Chinese cabbage alloplasmic,cytoplasmic male-sterility CMS22-3 as the female parent and a different self-bred line of Greens Komatsuna as the male parent.The maintenance line was 90-6.CMS08-6 was characterized for normal growing,disease resistance,good agronomy characteristics and suitability for hybridization.Its hybridized CMS08-6?87-6 showed excellent results on the demonstration trial.
